Trash Can Cleaning Services FAQ
Never heard of trash can cleaning services before today? We’ve put together a list of FAQs to help provide you with all the information you need!
Why Should I Pay Someone to Professionally Clean My Trash Bins When I Can Do It Myself?
Dirty trash bins stink! Nobody likes to clean them–it's dirty, disgusting work. Using a garden hose and detergent is not powerful enough to clean, sanitize or properly disinfect dirty bins. If you use a pressure washer, it is going spray back on you! If you use harsh chemicals, you could put yourself, your pets and the environment at risk.
We use industrial-grade equipment custom-built to safely clean, deodorize and disinfect your bins using only 200°F water, effectively steam-cleaning the inside of your trash bins.
My Trash Cans Aren’t Even a Year Old. Why Would I Need to Have Them Cleaned?
This is one of the most common objections we hear.
Studies have shown that your trash cans are among the dirtiest things on your property and bacteria start to grow in them from the very first use. Bacteria emit foul-smelling gas that causes awful odors.
Our high-pressure, hot water system eliminates bacteria so your bins to smell better immediately. Regular cleaning keeps new trash bins from getting to the point that you can’t stand to open the lid.
How Often Should I Have My Bins Cleaned?
This is a personal decision and the answer is “It depends…”.
People who store their bins in the garage and have to walk by them every day usually have them cleaned more often. Bins tend to smell nasty when it’s really hot outside and cleaning them more often in summer is common.
We offer flexibility and clean your bins when you want them cleaned. Monthly and quarterly cleaning schedules are available as well as our Flex plan and one-time cleaning options. Details here.
